The IFA - Islamic Foundation of America's articulates a mandate predicated upon the cultivation of a formidable institutional edifice, adept at sustaining Muslims in the profound observance of Islam—anchored resolutely in the Qur’an, the authentic Ahaadees, and the exemplary Sunnat of Muhammad (s). This encompasses the rigorous acquisition of knowledge and the edification of harmonious coexistence within an encompassing society of pluralistic realm.

The IFA, through its carefully structured framework, is distinctly positioned to manage and is exceptionally prepared to organize programs, develop strategic alliances and partnerships, and provide bespoke and customized interventions and tailored services that meet the theological, cognitive, and socio-cultural requirements of the diverse Muslim populations it serves.

The IFA - Islamic Foundation of America is a newly formed institution situated in the State of Illinois, created with the foremost goal of enhancing the Muslim community through a broad spectrum of faith-driven, educational, and community-focused initiatives. Established as a for-profit limited liability company (LLC) in Chicago, Illinois, in December 2024, it operates effectively within the legal and regulatory framework of the United States, thus allowing for the committed pursuit of its community objectives. Complementing this initiative is its academic division, the Islamic School of America (ISA), which bolsters its educational mission.

TOWARDS UNDERSTANDING ALLAH

Alhamdulillah! Brother Imran serves as Founder President of the IFA - Islamic Foundation of America since December 2024, having formerly presided over the IREF Islamic Research and Educational Foundation in Hyderabad, India, from February 1, 1998, to September 10, 2023.

Alhamdulillah, a trilingual savant in English, Urdu, and Hindi, he has delivered 99 discourses on Allah’s Beautiful Names and on explanation of Qur’anic exegesis, plus 500+ global lectures, perpetuating Sheikh Ahmed Deedat’s (rh) legacy with erudition and interfaith acumen. Blessed to tour 20 countries for Islamic Da‘wah, he addressed the U.S. Army at Fort Knox and to the FBI in Chicago and other cities of the USA. His first visit to the USA was in 2004 as the guest of the US State Department.

Masha' Allah, relocated to Chicago on September 12, 2023, with family, he delivers Friday sermons at Des Plaines Downtown Masjid, tours U.S. cities for Islamic Da‘wah, and conducts workshops equipping believers to articulate Islam academically to all mankind.

Alhamdulillah, his Ramadan 2024–2025 post-Taraweeh Qur’anic exegeses (30 minutes) on salat suras reprise in 2026 at 733 Lee St, Des Plaines, IL 60016, open to all.

HAPPY MARRIED LIFE

Alhamdulillah! Sister Amtul Mateen has served as Vice President of the Islamic Foundation of America (IFA) since December 2024, after directing the Women’s Section administration at the Islamic Research and Educational Foundation (IREF) in Hyderabad, India, from October 1, 2005, to September 10, 2023.

Masha' Allah, married to Br. Imran—IFA President and former IREF President—she relocated to Chicago, USA, on September 12, 2023, with her family. Post-arrival, she has diligently pursued Islamic da‘wah, including Qur’anic distribution to non-Muslims and women-only Islamic Da‘wah workshops.

Alhamdulillah! A preeminent scholar and orator in Islam and comparative religion, mastering English and Urdu and Hindi, she embodies the legacies of Sheikh Ahmed Deedat (rh) and her husband. Her 300+ lectures and interfaith dialogues, notably on the wives of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam), convey enduring virtues of faith, resilience, and integrity.

IMRAN

Al Hamdulillah! Br. Imran (Mujtaba Hussain Siddiqui), is the Founder President of the Islamic Foundation of America (IFA) and Chairman of the Islamic School of America (ISA) that is under the aegis of the IFA.

Al Hamdulillah! Br. Imran pursued a Bachelor's Degree with majors in Political Science, Public Administration, and History. With experience of 26 years as President of IREF, Hyderabad and of public talks in 15+ countries, he relocated to Chicago in Sep-2023. Br. Imran was invited along with fifteen other eminent Muslim Scholars from India by the US State Department in 2004, and since then he has regularly visited the USA to deliver public talks on Islam at various U.S., universities, to the US Army at Fort Knox, and to the FBI.

Discerning the educational and economic lag, particularly among Muslims, he seeks to empower students in all the required subjects and also in STEM, AI, business, Islamic finance, women’s empowerment, and motivational speaking, all aligned with Qur'an & Sunnat. He envisions a prosperous future for Muslim generations in the USA, enhancing American honor globally and creating a progressive impact worldwide. Br. Imran has mentored and trained more than 500 students as academic public speakers on Islam and comparative religion, several of whom are now engaged in Islamic Da'wah on international platforms across multiple countries beyond India. He has been privileged to acquire foundational Islamic knowledge from esteemed scholars of global renown, many of whom are graduates of prestigious Islamic seminaries, including those from the revered city of Madina.

AMTUL MATEEN

Al Hamdulillah! Sister Amtul Mateen serves as the esteemed Vice President of the Islamic Foundation of America (IFA) and holds the distinguished position of Administration Manager for both the IFA and its educational division, the Islamic School of America (ISA). Al Hamdulillah! She pursued a Bachelor's degree with a Major in genetics.

She has been an eminent female speaker and served with distinction for over 18 years as the Manager of Administration, Women’s Section at the Islamic Research & Educational Foundation (IREF) in Hyderabad, India. Maa Shaa Allah, she has trained no fewer than 250 women to become proficient public speakers on Islam and Comparative Religion. She has also provided invaluable counseling to numerous women grappling with familial and parenting challenges. A source of inspiration and guidance, Sister Amtul Mateen encouraged young girls to pursue higher education, all while steadfastly adhering to the principles of Islam—most notably maintaining the observance of the veil.

Her contributions include equipping the younger generation with the intellectual tools to address allegations against Islam posed by feminists and pseudo-secular critics through well-articulated and scholarly responses. Despite her demanding professional commitments, Sister Amtul Mateen has gracefully balanced her roles as a wife and the mother of five children. This personal experience has further empowered her to mentor married working women and mothers, offering practical guidance on harmonizing professional responsibilities with familial duties. Sis. Amtul Mateen relocated to Chicago, USA in Sep/2023 with her entire family.

MISSION of the IFA and the ISA, is to provide exceptional education in both religious and academic disciplines to students of all ages and backgrounds. We aim to illuminate the purpose of life and instill a profound belief in the reality of the Hereafter and the Day of Accountability before the One True Almighty Allah.

Allah Says in the Qur'an in Sura Fussilat : 41 : 53 : "We shall soon show them our Signs in the farthest regions of the earth (Space Science, Astro-Physics, Geology, Geography, Botany, Zoology, Metallurgy...) and within their own-selves (Medical Science with all its branches), unless it becomes manifest to them (mankind) that this is The Truth (Truth of Qur'an as Divine Revelation)".

A CHILD's SCHOOL IS A DRESS OF THE CHILD'S FUTURE

Al Hamdulillah! At the ISA, we prioritize quality over quantity. The responsibility now lies with parents to choose the right school for their children. Muslim parents in Europe, Canada, and America have endeavored to find institutions that provide both exceptional Islamic and secular education. Unfortunately, many so-called 'Islamic Schools' have fallen short of meeting the expectations of these parents. Despite over 800 Islamic schools in the USA, we have yet to witness a significant number of Muslim students making a meaningful impact on society or contributing substantially to the Muslim community or humanity at large. While memorizing the Qur'an is a common practice among Muslims in these regions, not even a handful can truly understand its meanings.

Insha'Allah, at ISA, we are committed to changing this narrative by producing students who excel in both academics and Islamic Da'wah.

Insha'Allah, these students after completing school from ISA will not only make Allah pleased but will also bring honor to their parents. They will also make Americans and America a proud nation with their positive impact on global peace and progress.

Al Hamdulillah! Br. Simaak Hussain Siddiqui has been a prominent speaker on Islam and comparative religion, delivering weekly lectures alongside his father, Br. Imran, at the Islamic Research & Educational Foundation (IREF) in Hyderabad, India. He also accompanied his father on Da'wah tours beyond Hyderabad, including public engagements in Malaysia and Singapore. Remarkably, he began delivering public presentations at the age of five.

TAHAARAT IN ISLAM - Concept of Purity

Br. Sinaan Hussain Siddiqui, an 12th-grade student at a prestigious school in Chicago, USA, delivered his debut public address in the United States at the Des Plaines Downtown Masjid, Des Plaines, Illinois, on Saturday, February 17, 2024.

Br. Sinaan was a regular speaker on Islam and comparative religion at the Islamic Research & Educational Foundation (IREF), where he spoke alongside his elder brother, Br. Simaak Hussain Siddiqui. Remarkably, he has been delivering public presentations since the age of three.

Saubaan Hussain Siddiqui, a 7th-grade student at a distinguished school in Chicago, USA, delivered his inaugural public address in the United States at the Des Plaines Downtown Masjid, Des Plaines, Illinois, on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Br. Saubaan actively participated in preparing and delivering concise Islamic presentations alongside his two elder brothers at the Islamic Research & Educational Foundation (IREF) on Sundays. Al Hamdulillah! Sis. Sumayya Fatima holds a Master's degree in Psychology and has been a prominent female speaker on Islam and comparative religion at the Women's Section of the Islamic Research & Educational Foundation (IREF) in Hyderabad, India. She has mentored hundreds of young women—both peers and those younger and older—equipping them with advanced public speaking skills. Furthermore, she has inspired numerous women to pursue higher education while steadfastly adhering to the principles of Islamic modesty and foundational values. As the eldest daughter of Br. Imran, she began delivering public presentations at the remarkable age of five.
